The non-vintage 5-Year-Old, bottled in January 2011, has a deep auburn hue. The nose is elegant and well-defined with scents of orange rind and rosewater. The palate is smooth and sensual on the entry with crisp acidity. Towards the finish, it eases off the accelerator with notes of citrus lemon, honey and a touch of mandarin to create a refined Madeira that has an effortless quality.
